Active Seniors
Active Ageing, Volunteering and Intergenerational Learning
About the Project
The ACTS – Active Citizens Through Senior Engagement project was created to support older adults in staying actively involved in society, developing their skills, and strengthening both their physical and mental well-being.
Our aim is to help seniors feel useful, confident and respected – and to enable them to share their knowledge and experience with younger generations.

We Are Launching a New International Project
We are pleased to announce that we have officially launched our new Erasmus+ project ACTS – Active Seniors: Volunteering, Well-being & Lifelong Engagement. The project runs from November 2025 to April 2027 and focuses on supporting active ageing, senior volunteering, and intergenerational learning.
The goal of ACTS is to create an environment where seniors can discover their strengths, improve their well-being and digital skills, engage in meaningful volunteering, and strengthen their relationships with families and communities. Throughout the project, we will develop several key outputs, including the Senior Volunteering & Mentoring Guide, the Academy of Healthy Ageing, the Senior Healthy Lifestyle Guide, and the Family Well-being Chronicle.
The project is implemented in partnership with nowa (Austria) and Dom Sofija (North Macedonia). This international cooperation allows us to combine expertise from different contexts and jointly develop innovative tools that support active, healthy, and socially connected senior lives.
We will regularly share updates, activities, and opportunities to get involved here on our website and on our social media channels.
We look forward to helping seniors live active, healthy, and meaningful lives through the ACTS project.
